The Ithaca Chill Challenge is an annual fundraising event for Ithaca Community Recovery. The challenge is a Polar Plunge, but with a twist.
On New Year’s Eve at midnight, the higher total for each participant prevails. Participants commit to doing whatever their friends, loved ones, co-workers, frenemies, siblings, and assorted other donors decide. Regardless of who winds up in the lake, all donations go to support ICR.
People who are active in the recovery community, the people who love and support them, the people who only know them – everyone will be able to come together to celebrate and to welcome in the new year.
