SUMMARY:Centre Stage Community Theatre Presents Perfect Arrangement
DESCRIPTION:Centre Stage Community Theatre is proud to present Perfect Arrangement by\nacclaimed playwright Topher Payne\, June 26–28\, 2026\, in Mandeville Hall at the Clemens Center.\nSet in 1950 at the height of the Red Scare\, Perfect Arrangement follows two U.S. State Department\nemployees\, Bob and Norma\, who have been tasked with identifying so-called “sexual deviants”\nwithin their ranks. This area was home to a large Black population in the early to mid-19th century. Learn about the first Black men and women to purchase property in Geneva\, the rise of the neighborhood\, and the eventual decline of the Black population in the late 1800s. \nParticipants should meet in the overflow parking lot across from West Street School\, at 30 West Street. \nThe tour will run rain or shine\, but will be cancelled in the event of thunderstorms or heavy downpours. The cost is $5 per person. Payment should be exact change or check and is payable at the start of the tour. For further information call Historic Geneva at 315-789-5151.
