Step Back in Time: Restvale Cemetery Walking Tour
Join SFHS Executive Director Jonathan Monfiletto for a walking tour of Restvale Cemetery on Saturday, September 12 at 4 p.m. Discover the lives and legacies of some of the notable figures buried there and explore the marks they made on our community and history.
“Stepping Back in Time: A Walking Tour of Restvale Cemetery” will feature historical figures including Jacob Chamberlain, Grace Woodworth, Seabury Gould, and Wilhelmus Mynderse.
Admission is $8 for SFHS members and $10 for nonmembers. Registration is encouraged but not required. Tickets and registration: https://sfhistoricalsociety.square.site/upcoming-programs
The tour will take place primarily in Section B of Restvale Cemetery. Parking is available between Sections K and I on the west side of the ravine or in Section A along the easternmost roadway. The approximately one-hour tour follows a flat, gravel path and will take place rain or shine.
