National Drug Take Back Day
April 30 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pmFree
Spring cleaning?! Don’t forget to clean out your cabinets too and get rid of all your unused, expired, human & pet medications! The Seneca County Substance Abuse Coalition, in collaboration with the Waterloo Police, Seneca Falls Police & Seneca County Sheriff’s Departments, will be participating in the DEA National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 30th. Anyone (free, anonymous, no questions asked) can stop by the Walgreens in Waterloo, Kinney in Seneca Falls, or Kinney in Ovid to drop off medications between 10:00am-2:00pm. Unfortunately, the site is UNABLE to accept liquids, needles or other sharps… only pills and patches please. Keep your home safe and dispose of unwanted medications in an environmentally friendly way!!
In addition, anyone who may be in need of a gun lock to secure a firearm in their home may stop by the table… gun locks are available free of charge all day. Please help keep our youth safe by securing all firearms.
