Free Breast Cancer Screening Day

Seneca County Public Health and the Cancer Services Program of the Finger Lakes Region are hosting a free breast cancer screening day in the parking lot of Seneca County Public Heath at 2465 Bonadent Drive in Waterloo on Tuesday August 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rochester Regional Health’s Mobile Mammography Unit will be providing mammograms on their state-of-the-art coach. The coach includes a 3-D mammogram machine, private dressing rooms and a patient waiting area.
Stop by on this screening day anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to check for breast cancer. Representatives from Seneca County Public Health and the Cancer Services Program of the Finger Lakes Region will be on-site to answer questions about other free programs and services. You do not need a doctor’s referral to get screened for breast cancer,
Mammograms are free for eligible uninsured individuals. At-home colon cancer screening kits will also be handed out for free to eligible individuals ages 45 and older.
