Civil War Day

Step back in time at Civil War Day at Rose Hill Mansion! Meet reenactors from Reynolds’ Battery and the 148th New York Volunteer Infantry as they bring Civil War history to life. Explore a Union camp, watch a cannon-firing demonstration, visit a working reproduction battery forge and sutler’s wagon, and tour the first floor of Rose Hill Mansion. Civilian and military interpreters will share stories of life on the front lines and the home front. The Carriage House Gift Shop and exhibits will also be open. Free admission.
